First year images of Addy were inspired by the lush colors of Longwood Gardens in her hometown of Kennett Square, PA.
It was a cold morning that drove us to start inside the garden conservatory. Addy took the lead as we ventured through the gardens pausing at what plants made us stop in our tracks. Ivy climbing walls and colorful flowers painted each nook and cranny. I asked Devon what Addy’s favorite activities were. She responded by lifting Addy high in the air and that’s when Addy’s face lit up with so much joy.
After periods of lifting Addy in the air, there were brief moments of pause and love. So content in her mother’s arms, I knew all too well that Addy adores her mom. Moments like these are so precious and we need to hold so dearly. A mother and daughter’s love is a bond like no other. Their love is constant.
